Wixom Lake is located in these townships and counties. The southern most part is in Hope Township, Midland County and going North into Billings Township and Tobacco Township of Gladwin County .

Tobacco Township has some wonderful sandy beach waterfront homes and high bank waterfront homes and lots.

Hay township, where the Tittabawassee River and Molasses River flow together down into Wixom Lake and is boatable. It is much quieter in the Northern part of the Lake.

Albright Shores is located in Billings Township and is a community with a fire department, townhall, restaurant, a couple stores & gas stations, a cemetary, some real estate offices and the Eagles club. It's a nice area to live in or vacation to. It's especially great for the sportsman, whether you prefer hunting and fishing to boating and fourwheeling, with all the state land in the county and the rivers and lakes, you'll find fun any time of year.
